LEXINGTON, MA, November 30, 2007—Wrightsoft Corporation has announced the launch of a new website at www.wrightsoft.com. The company has designed the new site to be easier to use and to provide updated information on their new Right-Suite™ Universal HVAC design and sales software package.

“Based on the changing market conditions, we have adjusted our overall messaging and company focus to enable our customers to continue to succeed,” stated Chris Edgren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our new website makes information about our company more accessible and uses the latest technology to demonstrate our solutions and educate our customers.”

The new Wrightsoft site currently focuses on the solutions offered by the Right-Suite™ software and customer success stories, as well as providing background on the company and technical information such as newsletters, bulletins, and white papers. Users visiting the site will be able to watch videos demonstrating each of the modules of the Right-Suite™ as well as register to gain access to an exclusive My Account area which includes access to download free demo versions and service pack updates, and sign up for an e-newsletter.

New features, videos, and exclusive profile management tools will be added to the new Wrightsoft website over time based on customer feedback and interactions. Adds Chris Edgren, “We want this site to be a resource for our customers and all HVAC contractors to learn more about load calculation, design, and sales software and how it can help their business. Feedback from users will be critical to us to make adjustments to the site and make sure that it meets that goal.”

November 26, 2007: RSU Ships!

LEXINGTON, MA, November 1, 2007—Wrightsoft Corporation is pleased to announce the new Right-Suite™ Universal HVAC design and sales software is now shipping. Right-Suite Universal, the latest software innovation from Wrightsoft, combines residential and commercial design capabilities in one product for the first time, giving customers the power to use a single program for all of their design and sales projects. By combining ACCA, ASHRAE, and HRAI technologies with automated bill of materials, proposals, and compliance tools into a single design and estimating product, designers can now apply the most appropriate load, duct, radiant and geothermal design methods in real-time, with greater efficiency and cost savings depending on project requirements.

“Right-Suite Universal represents the culmination of 20 years of research, development and technological innovation. By creating a program that allows users to manage residential and commercial projects at the same time, and quickly and easily switch between calculation methods, we are enabling a level of efficiency that will save our customers enormous amounts time and money,” said Chris Edgren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wrightsoft.

Right-Suite Universal integrates the functionalities of Wrightsoft’s industry-leading software products to allow users to quickly switch calculation methods depending upon project requirements, instead of opening and operating separate programs for each project. For instance, commercial load calculation methods that are beneficial for high-end housing will now be available for use on residential projects, which will also have access to commercial duct calculations that allow more accurate results for complicated duct designs. At the same time, commercial projects will now benefit from the additional functionalities of Wrightsoft modules, Right‐Radiant™, Right‐Proposal™, Right‐Loop™, Right‐Sales® and Right‐$™, which allow for a range of design and sales capabilities previously only available in residential design software.

Over 50 new features and capabilities were added to Right-Suite Universal to enhance the already unique drawing and design functions such as zoning, duct design, and bill of materials generation. RSU also uses and introduces to the industry new technologies including Wrightsoft’s Layered Materials Technology™ (LMT), which will allow designers to make their own custom material values by layering standard material values, therefore enabling easy translation into any of the load and duct calculation methods instantaneously. The custom materials can be stored in templates and libraries, reducing set up and calculation time. Right-Catalog® has also been improved to allow for automatic and regular updates of ARI/GAMA and manufacturer data.

Right-Suite Universal has been highly regarded by industry groups and contractors, earning recognition most recently with the HVAC Comfortech 2007 Product Showcase Award. This is the third award for Wrightsoft Right-Suite Universal including the 2007 Dealer Design Silver Award, and the AHR 2007 Software Innovation Award. As stated by one of the judges, “this is an excellent product, having more features than probably anything else on the market.” Another judge also commented that RSU “is a great package and will help the contractor who wants to help themselves.”

“The continued recognition from the industry validates our efforts,” concluded Edgren. “Not only does this confirm that Right-Suite Universal is a true industry breakthrough that will significantly change the face of HVAC software, but it also provides us with a platform to launch other industry-changing products.”

LEXINGTON, MA, June 1, 2007—HVAC software industry leader Wrightsoft Corporation will relocate its headquarters to a new space at 131 Hartwell Avenue in Lexington, MA to accommodate the company’s continued growth and staff expansion. Wrightsoft is relocating from Lowell Street in Lexington, MA where it has been operating since founding in 1983.

“We’re excited about this move because it coincides with changes in our product offerings and staff and provides a newer, more collaborative space to help us continue to bring new product innovations to market,” said Bill Wright, President and CEO of Wrightsoft Corporation. “This new space will also include Wrightsoft’s first on-site training center, to provide an increased level of customer support and interaction.”

May 9, 2007: New Version Right-HV Duct!

LEXINGTON, MA, May 9, 2007—Wrightsoft Corporation has released a new version of its Right-HV™ Duct design module for Right-Suite Residential™, which enables customers to create accurate high-velocity duct designs. The many technical enhancements available in this new version, including the new duct layout, other usability improvements, and updated Unico product specifications and rules, parts and equipment databases, will allow for quicker and more realistic system designs.

Right-HV Duct offers a unique, drag-and-drop approach to duct design that enables customers to create customized high-velocity duct designs that meet the leading design rules and specifications for overall design, duct sizing, and vertical upflow and downflow configurations. Right-HV Duct is ideal for both the new construction and replacement markets as it can be used to design a system for a new home, or a system to be retrofitted into an existing home. With the additional modules of Right-Suite Residential such as Right-Proposal Plus™, users can instantly generate additional automated takeoffs, professional reports, and fully customizable proposals.

“This new version of Right-HV Duct gives HVAC designers the ability to increase sales by quickly and easily creating their own high-velocity duct designs and proposals within the same program,” said Chris Edgren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wrightsoft. “With up-to-date Unico product details and additional useful improvements, this new release gives residential designers a competitive edge.”

Right-HV Duct includes manufacturer-tested automatic register placement rules and a complete database of parts and heating and cooling equipment, both generic and from the leading manufacturers. Additionally, the new database of parts and equipment numbers match the 2007 Unico offering, removing discontinued items and including the newest additions to the product lines.

Further enhancements include increased drag-and-drop functionality and other usability improvements in Right-Draw to help speed the design process, and the ability to set more detailed design preferences to help customize the high-velocity design. After drawing a building design, HVAC designers have the ability to choose from a list of high-velocity layouts, including horseshoe and perimeter, among others, which are automatically generated when chosen. When the design is complete, loads and air flows can be broken down by rooms, zones, and registers and displayed on the design layout.

This new Right-HV Duct version release will help designers more accurately estimate high-velocity jobs and, as a component of the full Right-Suite Residential program, can easily provide a one-stop tool for high-velocity duct designers.
