Since the inception of the ACHR News Dealer Design Awards in 2004, Wrightsoft has taken an honor in each of the four years for its unique software. The Dealer Design Awards are awarded annually by an independent panel of contractors. The products are judged on several elements, including ease of use, differentiation from other competitive products, and overall benefit to the contractor.

The AHR Expo Innovation Awards are given each year to recognize the most innovative HVAC&R products showcased at the AHR Expo. The competition is jointly sponsored by International Exposition Company, ASHRAE, and ARI. It is intended to encourage innovation and to provide vocational school scholarships for HVAC&R students. The most innovative products among the thousands on display at the AHR Expo will be selected as winners in nine specific categories: building automation, cooling, green building, heating, indoor air quality (IAQ), refrigeration, software, tools, and ventilation.

The HVAC Comfortech Product Showcase Awards are given to the best of the best each year at HVAC Comfortech. Exhibiting companies are displayed in the Product Showcase at HVAC Comfortech. During the show, a panel of judges - consisting of HVAC contractors as well as editors of Contracting Business magazine - walk the show floor to learn about the entries. On the final day of the Product Showcase, winners are announced in each of the following 11 categories: Aftermarket, Controls, Cooling Equipment, Heating Equipment, Indoor Air Quality, Instrumentation/Diagnostics, Software, Tools, Training, Zoning Systems, and Miscellaneous. The winner in each category receives special recognition on the Contracting Business magazine website as well as a write-up in Contracting Business magazine.
